Collected Information

Registration/Account Information

When you sign up for Hotskoop you provide us with your name, email, gender, and birth date. You will also be able to add a picture of yourself. In some cases we may ask for additional information for security reasons or to provide specific services to you.
We store the information about you when you create your account on Hotskoop. We will use your email address to send you updates, provide services in connection with the website, contact you when you receive messages from business owners or friends, contact you if you receive friend invitations and contact you when you receive Hot Tips, Hot Coupons and Hot Deals. We may also use your signup location, birthday and gender to display relevant advertising to you.

Public Content

As a user, you can contribute to Hotskoop's Services by enhancing your user profile, uploading photos, uploading reviews, sharing reviews, sharing Hot Tips, sharing Hot Coupons, sharing Hot Deals, liking a place or adding a business. We may store these contributions, display them on our Services, or use it for promotional purposes. If you include personally identifiable information in your public content, it may be used and viewed by others. Hotskoop is not responsible for any information you choose to disclose and display in your public content.

Log Data

We automatically store information related to your use of our Services, such as the pages you view on our Services, your browser type, IP address, the phone numbers and names of businesses that you call through our Services, requested URL, browser language, referring URL, and the date and time of your visit.

Location Information

Our Services can provide helpful information based on where you are. If you tell us where you are via GPS, we may store and use that information to provide you with location-based information and advertising. If you want to deactivate this feature, you can either reinstall the application or deactivate GPS on your mobile device. Our Services also allows you to tell other users where you are, if you choose.

Messaging

Our Services allow business owners to send messages to you and attach Hot Coupons if they wish. We may store these messages to allow you to review and manage them.

Inviting Friends

As a user, you can invite your friend and family to join our community and Services by providing their contact information or importing your address book from other websites. We may store your friends' contact information to invite them to join our website and use our Services.
